Christmas parties DJ G plays
- Work and office Christmas parties
- Family and friends' Christmas parties
- Sports club, GAA and team nights
- Christmas parties in hotels, function rooms, pubs and clubs
How the night runs
Most Christmas parties follow the same shape, and the music changes with it.
Arrival and the meal
Lighter music while people arrive and sit down, loud enough to set the mood and quiet enough to talk over. A few softer Christmas songs work well here.
Speeches, awards and spot prizes
DJ G makes the announcements and can provide a microphone, so the formal part runs on time and everyone can hear it.
The dance floor
Once the formal part is over, the volume comes up. Big Christmas sing-alongs mixed with floor fillers everyone knows, planned with you beforehand and adjusted to the room on the night. Guest requests are welcome.

Christmas party questions
When should we book a Christmas party DJ?
As soon as you have a date. Friday and Saturday nights from late November to the week before Christmas are the busiest of the year, so the earlier you send your date, the more likely it's free.
How much does a Christmas party DJ cost?
Most 4-hour events cost €400 to €600. Bigger rooms, longer nights or extra lighting are quoted for your party. Send the date, venue and rough numbers for an exact price.
Will you play Christmas songs?
As many or as few as you like. The playlist is planned with you beforehand, so you decide how festive the night gets, and guests can make requests on the night.
Can you handle speeches, awards or a raffle?
Yes. DJ G makes the announcements and can provide a microphone for speeches, awards and spot prizes, then gets the dance floor going once the formal part is done.
Do you cover Christmas parties outside Athlone?
Yes. DJ G Beats is based in Athlone and plays Christmas parties across the Midlands and the rest of Ireland.
Is your Christmas party date free?
Send the date, venue and rough numbers and you'll hear back with availability and a price. Prefer to talk? Ring DJ G.
